Happy Anniversary

I'm on the road today, and I wanted to mention that this is the one year anniversary of my starting this blog (I was too tired to write anything yesterday). One year and 360 postings later, it still manages to entertain me. Not bad, not bad at all.

ABOUT NCFE

Welcome to NCFE, a blog that write simply because I can and because I pay $10/year for a domain name. On this site I write about whatever I want, whenever I want. I don't attempt to be profound, insightful or interesting. I simply attempt to be me, expressing whatever I happen to be feeling at whatever moment I chose to write. Why do I do this? Well I confess to having something of an expressive/creative streak, but I readily admit having zero artistic talent when it comes to such things as musical and visual expression. What's left? Well I suppose writing. Mind you I am not claiming to have any talent when it comes to writing either, but I'd like to feel that the benefit is in the attempt.

If you come here, read my "stuff" and find it interesting and/or entertaining, then I'm glad. I really am. If you come here, read my "stuff" and find it mundane, silly and/or simply stupid, well then you'll just have to decide not to return. Life is too short to waste our time.

What kind of blog is this? Well this is not a "political" blog. It is not a "lifestyle" blog either. In fact I find the concept of categorizing something like a blog to be nauseating. Seriously, this is the Internet, a place where 12 year olds snorting cinnamon can get a hundred thousand hits in a day on YouTube. I don't take this stuff that seriously...and you shouldn't either. That's not say that there are not any serious blogs...because there are...but most aren't. You can find some serious blogs listed below this text box. Check them out.

Comments about individual postings are always welcome. I do not moderate comments and I do allow individuals to comment anonymously (although I encourage everyone to comment using their own name). I will, however, righteously delete any comments that are just poorly disguised spam.
